Russia's Putin declares day of mourning after airliner crash in Egypt

MOSCOW, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared Nov. 1 a national day of mourning following the crash of a Russian airliner in Egypt, the Kremlin press service said on Saturday.

A Russian airliner with 224 people on board crashed earlier on Saturday in Egypt's Sinai peninsula.
