LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Warner Bros. Pictures is joining the environmental movement with the Leonardo DiCaprio-produced documentary "The 11th Hour," which will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this month.

The film is slated for a domestic release in the fall through the studio's specialty film division, Warner Independent Pictures.

The title of "11th Hour" refers to the last moment when change is possible, and the film features interviews with more than 50 scientists, thinkers and world leaders, including former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, scientist Stephen Hawking, former CIA chief R. James Woolsey, and sustainable design experts William McDonough and Bruce Mau.

In addition to co-producing and narrating the film, DiCaprio wrote the script with its directors, Leila Conners Peterson and Nadia Conners.
