Briefs 3-Liverpool goalkeeper Carson joins West Brom

Soccer - West Bromwich Albion have signed goalkeeper Scott Carson from Liverpool on a four-year deal for an initial 3.25 million pounds ($6.47 million), the Premier League club said.
Carson, an England international who spent last season on loan at Aston Villa after making nine Liverpool appearances following his move from Leeds United in January 2005, is West Brom's seventh signing since gaining promotion last season.
West Brom's spending this summer now stands at more than 13 million pounds. Earlier this week, they signed left back Marek Cech from Porto for 1.4 million pounds.
Soccer - Ivory Coast striker Bakary Kone, 26, will join Olympique Marseille from Ligue 1 rivals Nice after the clubs reached an agreement, Marseille said on their website without giving any further details (wwww.om.net).
Soccer - Former France forward Ludovic Giuly, 32, is joining Paris St Germain from AS Roma, the Ligue 1 club said in a statement. The former Barcelona player has signed a three-year deal for an undisclosed transfer fee. Continued...
