MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia is unlikely to have a government reshuffle before Dmitry Medvedev is sworn in as president on May 7, Kremlin chief-of-staff Sergei Sobyanin said on Sunday.

"I think we could talk about changes to both the administration and the government after May 7 when the inauguration of the new president will take place," said Sobyanin, who is also Medvedev's campaign manager.

"The dismissal of the current government before the inauguration is unlikely. Why dismiss one prime minister, spend two weeks appointing a new one and then dismiss the government again on May 7?" he said, Russian news agencies reported.
