Platinum off 2-week high, gold gains in Europe

  * Platinum <XPT=> quoted at $2,009.50/2,029.50 an ounce at
1527 GMT in Europe on Thursday after rising more than 3 percent
to a two-week high of 2,013.50, against $1,949.50/1,969.50 in
New York late on Wednesday.
 * Gold <XAU=> indicated at $883.10/884.10 an ounce after rising
to a high of $884.65, compared with $870.85/872.05 late on
Wednesday.
 * Gains as the dollar slips from 2-month highs against the
euro.
 * Spot silver <XAG=> quoted at $16.83/16.89 an ounce, up from
$16.60/16.66 in late U.S. dealings on Wednesday.
 * Palladium <XPD=> rises to $430/438 from $420.50/428.50.
