PROMONTORY FINANCIAL GROUP

The global consulting firm for financial services companies appointed Emory Wayne Rushton as a senior adviser to the chairman and CEO.

Rushton joins Promontory after a 42-year career with the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where he rose to be Senior Deputy Comptroller and Chief National Bank Examiner.

AMCORE FINANCIAL INC (AMFI.O: Quote, Profile, Research)

Amcore's board said Chief Executive William McManaman has been elected chairman of the board, effective May 6, 2008, succeeding Kenneth Edge, who is retiring.

McManaman, who has been a member of Amcore's board for the past 11 years, was named CEO in February 2008.
