General Dynamics wins $116 mln U.S. Army contract
WASHINGTON, May 5 (Reuters) - The U.S. Army has awarded a contract valued at $116 million to General Dynamics Corp (GD.N: Quote, Profile, Research) for work associated with the Abrams M1A1 main battle tank, the Pentagon said on Monday.
The fixed-price contract covers advanced acquisition of materials needed for upgrades to 204 M1A1 tanks, and will be completed by Dec. 31, 2009, the Pentagon said.
