UPDATE 1-Mexico's Telmex plans two dividends

MEXICO CITY, March 12 (Reuters) - Mexico's Telmex (TELMEXL.MX: Quote, Profile, Research) (TMX.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Wednesday it is planning a 0.40 peso per share dividend and an additional 0.15 peso per share payout for its international operations.

The combined dividend payout of 0.55 peso per share is higher than last year's dividend of 0.45 pesos.

Telmex is in the process of spinning off its international operations.

Shareholders are scheduled to vote on the proposal on April 25. (Reporting by Chris Aspin; editing by Carol Bishopric)
