SAN FRANCISCO, April 14 (Reuters) - Business software and services company CompuWare Corp (CPWR.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Monday forecast quarterly profits and revenue above Wall Street estimates, citing strong licensing revenue.

CompuWare said it expected fourth-quarter profit, excluding restructuring charges, of 23 cents per share, on revenue of about $337 million.

The company had been expected to earn 20 cents per share on revenue of $318.6 million, according to the average forecast of three analysts on Reuters Estimates. (Reporting by Scott Hillis; editing by Carol Bishopric)
