Lam Research sees fiscal fourth-quarter revs $535-$565 mln

SAN FRANCISCO, April 23 (Reuters) - Lam Research Corp (LRCX.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Wednesday forecast current-quarter revenue of $535 million to $565 million and net income per share of 32 cents to 42 cents.

The forecast, given by executives on a conference call with analysts following the company's fiscal third-quarter earnings report, includes results from Switzerland's SEZ Holding AG (SEZN.S: Quote, Profile, Research), which Lam Research acquired on March 11.

Lam Research, which supplies tools for etching circuits onto microchips, also said it expects overall semiconductor equipment industry capital expenditures to fall 20 percent to 25 percent in 2008 compared with 2007. (Reporting by Philipp Gollner)
