AT&T fixing cell service disruption in Alabama
NEW YORK, April 25 (Reuters) - AT&T Inc (T.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said it was restoring service after a network equipment problem that disrupted landline calls to its mobile phones in parts of Alabama, starting from 2.30 a.m. Central Time (0730 GMT) on Friday.
"Service is being restored," said spokesman Mark Siegel who said the disruption affected customers in Birmingham, Anniston, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. (Reporting by Verna Gates and Sinead Carew)
