Tellabs sees $13 mln in 2008 restructuring charges

NEW YORK, May 2 (Reuters) - U.S. network equipment maker Tellabs Inc (TLAB.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Friday it expects to record pretax restructuring charges of around $13 million in 2008 after cutting jobs and consolidating facilities.

Tellabs also forecast a non-cash charge in the second quarter of around $6 million. The restructuring is expected to be completed by the end of 2008, it said. (Reporting by Ritsuko Ando; Editing by Andre Grenon)
