TreeHouse unit to close pickle plant in Oregon

Feb 13 (Reuters) - Bay Valley Foods, a unit of specialty food company TreeHouse Foods Inc (THS.N: Quote, Profile, Research), said it plans to close its Portland, Oregon pickle plant, which has 88 employees, in June.

TreeHouse will take a related non-recurring pre-tax charge of about $22.4 million, or 44 cents a share in the first quarter, Bay Valley said in a statement. (Reporting by Anant Vijay Kala in Bangalore; Editing by Hezron Selvi)
