HK shares to open 0.1 percent lower;HSBC drags
HONG KONG, July 7 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares will open slightly lower on Monday, with a 1.1 perent gain in wireless carrier China Mobile (0941.HK: Quote, Profile, Research) offsetting a 1.2 percent drop in index heavyweight HSBC Holdings (0005.HK: Quote, Profile, Research).
China Merchants Bank (3968.HK: Quote, Profile, Research) is set to open up 3.1 percent after the country's sixth-largest lender said on Friday its first-half profit grew at least 50 percent.
The Hang Seng Index .HSI will open 21.12 points lower at 21,402.70.
The China Enterprises Index .HSCE of top locally listed mainland firms is set to open up 0.3 percent. (Reporting by Parvathy Ullatil; Editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
