Russia's Sistema sees investments flat at $4.5 bln
MOSCOW, May 14 (Reuters) - Russian services conglomerate Sistema (SSAq.L: Quote, Profile, Research) expects its total investments would likely be flat in 2008 compared with 2007 at around $4.5 billion, the company's financial director said on Wednesday.
"Our investment plans are always large and agressive. This year we will also invest agressively," Alexei Buyanov told reporters.
Buyanov said Sistema plans to invest around $1 billion in its public assets.
In 2007, Sistema's capital spendings reached $3.1 billion, while $1.5 billion were spent on acquisitions and share buybacks. (Reporting by Anastasia Teterevleva; Writing by Maria Kiselyova; Editing by Tanya Mosolova)
