Renold to make S.American acquisitions -CEO
LONDON, June 25 (Reuters) - British industrial chain maker Renold Plc (RNO.L: Quote, Profile, Research) will look to make acquisitions in South America over the coming year following two recent deals worth 7.7 million pounds ($15 million) in China and India, the group's chief executive said on Wednesday.
"I would happily look at opportunities in South America, and Brazil in particular, if an acquisition with the right characteristics came up," Renold Chief Executive Bob Davies told Reuters in a telephone interview.
"We do have a sales team in the region but it's small given the size of the opportunities there," he said. (Reporting by Rhys Jones, Editing by David Holmes)
