ISTANBUL, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Turkey's Privatisation Administration (OIB) has made no decision on selling petrochemicals firm Petkim (PETKM.IS) to the second highest bidder in a July tender, it said in a statement on Tuesday.

Shares in Turkish energy firm Turcas (TRCAS.IS) and petrochemicals firm Petkim (PETKM.IS) were suspended on Tuesday after a newspaper reported the OIB had started talking to the second highest bidder from the tender. The highest bidder was a Kazakhstan-based consortium, Transcentral Asia Petrochemical Holding.

The stocks were suspended pending a statement from the Privatisation Administration (OIB).
