UPDATE 1-Soccer-Romania call up Gaman to face France
BUCHAREST, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Romania coach Victor Piturca called up uncapped teenager Valerica Gaman for next week's 2010 World Cup qualifier against France.
The 19-year-old Universitatea Craiova central defender has only played 21 top division games for his club.
Another two players - goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon of FC Timisoara and central defender George Galamaz of Unirea Urziceni - were also included for the first time for the Group Seven clash on Oct. 11.
Steaua Bucharest midfielder Mirel Radoi was ruled out after picking up an injury in the 1-1 draw with CS Otopeni on Saturday.
Christian Chivu and Adrian Mutu were both included despite nursing injuries for the match to be played in the Black Sea port of Constanta.
