June 22 (Reuters) - Factbox on Brazil ahead of the Copa America:

PAST RECORD

* Winners: 1919, 1922, 1949, 1989, 1997, 1999, 2004.

* Runners-up: 1921, 1925, 1937, 1953, 1957, 1959, 1983, 1991, 1995.

Brazil's first four trophies were all won on home soil. There first title outside of Brazil was won in Bolivia in 1997.

RECENT FORM

* Brazil have played 10 friendlies since last year's World Cup, winning six, drawing three and losing one. Their only defeat was against Portugal in London in February.

COACH

* Dunga, nicknamed after the Dopey character from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, captained Brazil's 1994 World Cup winning team, a spectuclar personal comeback after he had been made the scapegoat for their poor performance four years earlier.
