FACTBOX-Soccer-United States Copa America facts and figures
June 22 (Reuters) - Factbox on the United States team ahead of the Copa America:
PAST RECORD
The U.S. took part by invitation in 1993 and 1995. They fell at the first hurdle in 1993 but finished a creditable fourth two years later, beating Argentina 3-0 to top their group before knocking out Mexico on penalties in the quarter-finals.
RECENT FORM
* The U.S. have won eight and drawn one of their nine matches this year up to and including their CONCACAF Gold Cup semi-final victory over Canada on Thursday. They meet Mexico in the final on Sunday. All their games have been in the United States.
COACH
* Bob Bradley was named as interim coach last December to replace Bruce Arena but wins over Mexico, Ecuador and Denmark were enough to persuade the U.S. federation to give him the job on a long-term basis.
* Bradley coached Chicago Fire from 1998 to 2002, the Metrostars from 2003 to 2005 and then Chivas USA in Major League Soccer. He has a total of 124 victories in the league, the highest number in the tournament's history.
