GM says Oct China vehicle sales more than doubled

SHANGHAI, Nov 9 (Reuters) - General Motors Co [GM.UL] said on Monday its China vehicle sales in October more than doubled from a year earlier.

General Motors and its joint ventures sold 166,911 vehicles in October, the company said in a statement.

Auto sales in China, the world's largest market, have been surging since early this year, boosted by government incentives aimed at bolstering domestic demand. (Reporting by Fang Yan and Edmund Klamann)
