Exxon Thai unit gets $904 mln syndicated loan

BANGKOK, Jan 9 (Reuters) - Esso (Thailand), a unit of Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N), has secured a syndicated loan of 30 billion baht ($904 million) from four Thai and three Japanese banks to refinance its bills of exchange.

Kasikornbank PCL KBAN.BK, Thailand's fourth-largest lender, and second-ranked Krung Thai Bank KTB.BK were lead arrangers of the loans, Kasikornbank said in a statement on Wednesday.

The loans included a one-year loan of 19 billion baht and a five-year loans of 11 billion baht, it said.

The other banks are Bank of Ayudhya BAY.BK, Siam City Bank SCIB.BK, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (8316.T), Mitzuho Bank (8411.T) and Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ (8306.T). ($1=33.17 Baht) (Reporting by Arada Therdthammakun; Editing by Michael Battye)
