Indian shares provisionally close up 2.65 pct

MUMBAI, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Indian shares provisionally rose 2.65 percent on Wednesday, led by gains in Reliance Industries (RELI.BO) and Infosys Technologies (INFY.BO), with sentiment underpinned by firm global markets.

The 30-share BSE index provisionally ended up 435.7 points at 16,876.26, with all of its components gaining.

Reliance Industries and Infosys provisionally closed 3.3 percent and 4.1 percent higher respectively.

The 50-share NSE index provisionally closed up 2.65 percent at 5,011.05 points. (Reporting by Ami Shah)
