Nycomed files lawsuit against Glenmark Generics
MUMBAI (Reuters) - Nycomed U.S. has filed a patent infringement lawsuit in the United States against Glenmark Generics Ltd, a unit of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd (GLEN.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), the Indian firm said in a statement on Wednesday.
The lawsuit was filed on Dec. 12 against Glenmark for its fluticasone propionate skin lotion, which is the generic version of Nycomed's Cutivate.
If Glenmark wins the patent challenge, it will win the right to exclusively market the product for 180 days after the patent expires, the company added.
