UPDATE 1-Tishman buys Paris office building for $95 mln

Nov 11 (Reuters) - Real estate private equity firm Tishman Speyer Properties LP said one of its investment funds has bought a 140,000-square-foot office building in Paris for about $95 million.

Tishman said it has acquired the building, which houses the corporate headquarters for various units of French insurer and asset manager AXA SA (AXAF.PA), from SCI Vendome in a sale-and-leaseback arrangement.

Tishman, which has been investing in the Paris market for 15 years, said the acquisition will bring its current portfolio of properties in Paris to 3 million square feet. (Reporting by Supantha Mukherjee and A.Ananthalakshmi in Bangalore; Editing by Greg Mahlich, Jarshad Kakkrakandy)
