According to a person familiar with the matter, Deutsche Bank hired Brett Kellam from UBS AG (UBSN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) as regional executive for the New York office of private client unit Deutsche Bank Alex. BROADPOINT GLEACHER SECURITIES GROUP (BPSG.O: Quote, Profile, Research)

The firm hired Steve Hentschel as managing director and head of real estate investment banking of its broker dealer subsidiary Gleacher Partners LLC.

Most recently, Hentschel was a real estate investment banker at Wachovia Securities.
