** Germany's E.ON (EONGn.DE), the world's largest utility, is set to sell its German power grid, four people with knowledge of the matter told Reuters. [ID:nWEA9537]

** Deutsche Boerse AG (DB1Gn.DE) placed a final bid for a controlling stake in the Warsaw Stock Exchange from the Polish government, the German operator said. [ID:nL6466933]

** Turkish energy firm Aksa Elektrik submitted the highest bid of $227 million for Turkey's Coruh electricity distribution grid in a tender broadcast live on television. [ID:nIST006148]
