Medicsight operating loss narrows, revenue up

Nov 12 (Reuters) - Medical imaging software company Medicsight Plc (MDST.L) said operating loss at the end of the third quarter narrowed and revenue from external customers rose 65 percent.

Operating loss before interest and tax was 6.6 million pounds ($10.91 million) for the nine months ended Sept. 30, compared with 7.3 million pounds in the year-ago period.

Net revenue from external customers rose 65 percent to 94,000 pounds.

However, the company's cash and equivalents balance was 12.3 million pounds, down from last year's 20.6 million pounds.
