MASTERCARD (MA.N: Quote, Profile, Research)

Citigroup's (C.N: Quote, Profile, Research) Asia head, Ajay Banga, will join credit card major MasterCard (MA.N: Quote, Profile, Research) as its president and chief operating officer, the latest in a series of high-profile departures from Citigroup.

Banga, 49, led a major reorganization of Citigroup's Asian operations last August that gave regional heads increased authority across the bank's sprawling product lines.

KKR PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTORS LP (KKR.AS: Quote, Profile, Research)

KKR Private Equity Investors said Dieter Rampl, chairman of Unicredit Group, has joined the board of directors of KKR Guernsey GP.

CANACCORD ADAMS

The independent financial services firm appointed Giles Fitzpatrick as president of Canaccord Adams Ltd, its UK operations, effective June 29. Fitzpatrick was most recently the CEO of Fox-Pitt, Kelton.
