April 8 (Reuters) - The following financial services industry appointments were announced on Wednesday. To inform us of other job changes, e-mail moves@thomsonreuters.com.

BANK OF AMERICA (BAC.N)

The bank's Merrill Lynch unit has hired Bryan Weadock, most recently head of investor client management at JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N) in New York, as head of Americas Fixed Income Sales. Weadock, who will join Merrill in July, will report to Mike Meyer, global head of sales for the firm's global markets platform.

ZURICH FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP

The Swiss insurer named Mike Kerner, currently global chief underwriting officer and head of group strategy in Zurich, as chief executive of the insurer's Global Corporate in North America business unit, effective June 1. Kerner, 43, succeeds Mario Vitale, who had been serving in the role on an interim basis since Jan. 1.

FORWARD MANAGEMENT

The investment adviser named Marla Press and Bill Glover as regional sales directors for the south-central and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States, respectively. Press was previously at Barclays Global Investor Services (BARC.L), where her duties included educating financial advisers and representing iShares. Glover was previously a vice president with Managers Investment Group, a unit of asset management firm Affiliated Managers Group.
