April 28 (Reuters) - Sigma Industries Inc (SIC.V), a maker of composite and metal products, said it will close its manufacturing facility in Acton Vale, Quebec in mid-September due to the financial crisis in the heavy-duty truck industry.

The company said it will record a related charge in the second quarter.

At the moment, about 40 employees work at the facility, which mainly makes composite hoods for the heavy truck and vocational truck markets, the company said. (Reporting by Richa Dubey in Bangalore; Editing by Anne Pallivathuckal)
