UPDATE 1-PetSmart recalls 12 more beef products

* Says recalling 14 beef hoof products totally

* Expands purchase date range to Sept. 1-Nov. 6

Nov 10 (Reuters) - Pet products retailer PetSmart Inc (PETM.O) said it is recalling 12 more beef hoof products due to potential salmonella contamination.

Last week, the company said it had recalled Dentley's bulk cattle hoof and Dentley's 10 pack beef hooves, manufactured by Pet Carousel Inc in California, from all of its stores in the United States. [ID:nBNG372414]

The extended recall includes beef hoof chews as well as certain rope toys with hoof or bone components -- also manufactured by Pet Carousel.

Shares of the Phoenix, Arizona-based company were trading up 3 cents at $24.62 Tuesday morning on Nasdaq. (Reporting by Abhishek Takle in Bangalore; Editing by Aradhana Aravindan)
