 Reliance Communications Ltd (RLCM.BO), India's No. 2 mobile
operator, and South Africa's MTN Group (MTNJ.J) began 45 days
of exclusive negotiations in late May that could create a
global top-10 telecom.
 Reliance Industries (RELI.BO), run by Mukesh Ambani, the
estranged brother of Reliance Communications Chairman Anil
Ambani, has claimed a right of first refusal to buy a
controlling stake in Reliance Communications.
