Infosys opens second IT services facility in Mexico

BANGALORE, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Infosys Technologies (INFY.BO), India's second-largest software services exporter, said on Monday it had opened its second IT services facility in Mexico. The centre, which will offer services such as consulting, business process outsourcing and technology infrastructure management, will serve clients primarily in Latin America, North America and Europe, the company said in a statement.

Indian outsourcing firms such as Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS.BO) are expanding their presence in Latin America, Europe and elsewhere to minimise their exposure to the United States, which accounts for half of their business. (Reporting by Sumeet Chatterjee; Editing by John Mair)
