BUCHAREST, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Romania's deputy Economy Minister Tudor Serban said on Wednesday the government plans to halt selloffs in the energy sector to strategic investors indefinitely.

"We feel right now that privatisation in strategic sectors should stop ... indefinitely," Serban told reporters on the sidelines of a financial seminar. "We are reserved, we have even problems with privatising .. to strategic investors."

However, he did not rule out listing minority stakes in such state-controlled power firms on the bourse. (Reporting by Luiza Ilie; Editing by Elaine Hardcastle)
