PFI - UK - Adviser selections on infrastructure asset sales
London, Nov 26 (Project Finance International) - The Department for Transport is expected to put out a tender for strategic advisers on the sale of the Dartford Bridge on the London orbital M25 road before the Christmas holidays. The mandate will be to review options for how the sale can be conducted and could lead to a role on the sale itself. Earlier this month it became clear Citigroup and UBS would advise on the UK government on the sale of the Channel Tunnel rail link from London to the Channel Tunnel. Both infrastructure assets will be sold next year's under Prime Minister Gordon Brown's plan to reduce public debt via asset sales. rod.morrison@thomsonreutes.com
