Poland - Factors to Watch on Nov 30
WARSAW, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press reports and events to watch which may affect Poland's financial markets on Monday. ALL TIMES GMT (Poland GMT + 1 hour):
ECONOMIC GROWTH
Poland's statistics office releases gross domestic product (GDP) growth data for the third quarter at 0900 GMT. Analysts polled by Reuters economy to have expanded by 1.3 percent.
The central bank's Monetary Policy Council member Andrzej Slawinski told TVN CNBC on Monday Poland's fourth quarter growth may accelerate to 2 percent year-on-year from slightly over 1 percent probably posted in the third quarter [ID:WAR011175]
MPC hopeful, Andrzej Bratkowski, said Poland's economy could expand by 2 percent in 2010 and accelerate to 3-4 percent in following years, he was quoted on Monday as telling daily Parkiet.
GAS
Russia has made new demands regarding a gas deal between Poland and Russia, Dziennik daily wrote quoting unnamed sources. Economy Minister Waldemar Pawlak was quoted as saying Poland may do the same if such new demands are raised, Dziennik wrote.
AVG
Czech software firm AVG could debut on the Warsaw bourse in the second half of 2010, managing partner of the company's largest shareholder, Enterprise Investors, was quoted as saying on Saturday.[ID:nGEE5AR02T]
JW CONSTRUCTION
Main shareholder of Poland's largest homebuilder JW Construction JWCA.WA was quoted as saying on Saturday that he expected home sales to stabilise ahead with a slight tendency for growth.[ID:nGEE5AR029]
PKN OIL DEALS
Poland's leading refiner PKN Orlen PKNA.WA is in talks with two companies over oil supplies in a drive to increase share of long-term oil supplies, Chief Executive Jacek Krawiec said on Friday. [ID:nGEE5AQ22T]
ENEA FLOATATION
Poland wants to float up to 16 percent of its second-largest utility Enea ENAE.WA on the Warsaw bourse in a deal worth 1.2 billion zlotys ($430 million) at current prices, Treasury Ministry spokesman said on Friday. [ID:nGEE5AQ20P]
CONSUMER SENTIMENT
Polish consumer confidence bounced back in November to its highest level this year, signalling a further improvement in private consumption, statistics office data showed on Friday. [ID:nGEE5AQ1RM]
