Pfizer says in partnership deal with BMP in China

HONG KONG, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Pfizer China, a unit of the world's biggest drugnmaker Pfizer Inc (PFE.N), on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership with BMP Sunstone Corporation (BJGP.O) to import, distribute and promote a Pfizer product used to treat endometriosis in China.

Endometriosis is a medical condition in women of childbearing age that can cause significant pain.

BMP, a specialty pharmaceutical company and a pediatric and women's health products maker in China, said the product, Depo-Provera (Medroxy-progesterone Acetate), was expected to drive its business growth in the mainland.
