Brown pledges extra 64 million pounds for Afghan development

KABUL (Reuters) - Prime Minister Gordon Brown on Thursday pledged an additional 64 million pounds to go into a fund that channels development aid to the Afghan government, he told a news conference in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
