 - GARUDA INDONESIA TO SPEND $100 MLN ON EXPANSION
 Indonesian flag carrier PT Garuda Indonesia plans to spend
$100 million in 2010 to buy more planes as part of its
five-year expansion plan, said Finance Director Eddy Porwanto.

 - GOVT MAY SPEND ABOUT 60 PCT OF INFRASTRUCTURE STIMULUS
 The government could still spend nearly 60 percent of the
infrastructure-related stimulus budget by the end of this year,
said Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati.
 - GOVT MAY REDUCE ITS SHARE OF PROFTS FOR ENERGY PROJECTS
 Indonesia may offer to reduce its share in contract
production sharing from 85 percent currently to attract more
investment for energy development, particularly for renewable
energy, Chief Economics Minister Hatta Rajasa said. (Kontan)
 - ENERGI MEGA BUYS 10 PCT STAKE IN MASELA FOR $77 MLN
 Energy explorer PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG.JK) bought
a 10 percent stake in Indonesia's offshore Masela Block for $77
million, president director Imam P Agustino said. (Kontan)
 - PERTAMINA EYES 30 STAKE IN HANOI TROUGH BLOCK IN VIETNAM
 State oil firm PT Pertamina plans to acquire a 30 percent
stake in Hanoi Trough Block in Vietnam, part of efforts to
increase crude supply for its domestic refineries, president
director Karen Agustiawan said. (Bisnis Indonesia)
 - NEW MILITARY COMMANDERS INSTALLED
 President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono installed Lt. Gen.
George Toisuta as the new Army chief, Vice Adm. Agus Suhartono
as the new Navy chief, and Rear Marshall Imam Sufaat as the new

  MARKET SNAPSHOTS
 * Indonesia's index was up 0.47 percent on Monday. Largest
automotive distributor Astra International (ASII.JK) gained
4.12 percent, and heavy equipment maker United Tractors
(UNTR.JK) was up 4.67 percent.
 * A broad U.S. stocks rally sent the Dow industrials to a
13-month high on Monday, after the Group of 20 pledged to keep
aid flowing to the world economy, strengthening investors'
desire for risk. [.N]
 * Oil rose more than 2 percent on Monday after Tropical
Storm Ida forced the shut in of 30 percent of oil production in
the Gulf of Mexico, cutting supplies to the world's largest
energy consumer. [O/R]

 * Malaysian crude palm oil futures rose 0.9 percent on
Monday, bouncing back from early losses, supported by talk of a
rise in exports and a bullish price outlook from an influential

Jakarta, sold 9,000 tonnes of palm oil at a top price of 6,515
rupiah per kg on Monday, against 6,564 rupiah per kg last

MARKETS NEWS - For an outlook of Asian stock trading, click on
[STXNEWS/AS] - The Indonesian rupiah and Malaysian ringgit led
Asian currencies higher on Monday as the dollar lost ground
broadly following weak U.S. jobs data and a G20 meeting that
took little action to end the dollar woes. [EMRG/FRX] - Stock
indexes in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand climbed to their
highest in almost two weeks on Monday on buying in resource and
commodity companies such as Wilmar International, Astra Agro
