BAGHDAD - Poland's ambassador to Iraq was wounded in a bomb attack on his diplomatic convoy in Baghdad, which killed a bodyguard and a passerby, officials said.
BAQUBA - Three people were killed, including a girl student, during clashes between police and gunmen in Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
* BAGHDAD - A car bomb in central Baghdad killed two people and wounded five.
* BAGHDAD - U.S. Apache helicopters fired at a vehicle carrying five suspected insurgent bombers, killing all five, the U.S. military said.
* BAGHDAD - Police said a roadside bomb targeted a U.S. patrol just outside the Green Zone in central Baghdad. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
* BAQUBA - A mortar attack in Baquba killed three people and wounded 10, police said.
