- Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice president R. Sivarasa has come under fire from seven of his party members of parliament (MPs) for implying that their party boss Anwar Ibrahim's warning for members to toe the line is directed at Kulim-Bandar Baru member of parliament Zulkifli Noordin.

- Maxis Bhd has set the price of its initial public offering (IPO) shares at 4.75 ringgit each while institutional and cornerstone tranches are at five ringgit per share, which will collectively raise about 11.2 billion ringgit from the listing of 2.25 billion shares on Bursa Malaysia (BMYS.KL).

- More than 1.2 million households and business premises in the country will be wired up with optical Fibre to enable them access to mega-speed Internet connection.

- Southeast Asia's largest initial public offering (IPO) so far, Maxis Bhd, has priced its retail tranche of shares at 4.75 ringgit per share, representing a five percent discount to the institutional price, set at five ringgit, to raise some 11.2 billion ringgit.
