Alstom-Bouygues JV wins 190 mln-euro Vietnam deal

PARIS, Oct 1 (Reuters) - A joint venture between France's Bouygues (BOUY.PA) and Alstom (ALSO.PA) has won a 190 million-euro ($270.5 million) contract to help build a power station in Vietnam, the French prime minister's office said on Monday.

The deal between the Vietnamese national power company and Alstom Hydro, a firm equally owned by construction group Bouygues and engineering group Alstom, was signed during an official visit to Paris by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
