Credit Suisse hires JP Morgan healthcare bankers
LONDON, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Investment bank Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) has hired two bankers from rival JP Morgan (JPM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) to its Europe, Africa and the Middle-East Healthcare banking practice as it boosts its coverage in the area.
The Healthcare group, part of the bank's Diversified Industries Group, will be led by Leopoldo Zambeletti, hired as a managing director from JP Morgan, said the bank in an internal memorandum seen by Reuters and confirmed by a spokesman.
The Zurich-based bank said in the memo it has also hired Martin Henrichs from JP Morgan as a director in the healthcare team, adding he will start on October 15.
"We look forward to this expanded team building on Credit Suisse's long-term commitment and market-leading position in EMEA Health Care," said the memo, signed by head of EMEA investment banking Marco Mazzucchelli and head of Diversified Industries John Owen.
