(Reuters) - A British soldier was killed and another injured while on patrol in the southern Iraqi city of Basra, the Ministry of Defence said on Monday.

Following are the latest figures for military deaths in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003:

U.S.-LED COALITION FORCES:

United States 3,253

Britain 136

Other nations 124

IRAQIS:

Military Between 4,900 and 6,375#
