NAIROBI, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf is in a Nairobi hospital on a routine medical visit and his condition is not serious, a Somali government spokesman said on Tuesday, denying a report he was in serious condition.

"He was working yesterday. He was normal and in a good condition. I guess he is just tired because he had a long meeting with the prime minister last night, but he is not in a serious condition," government spokesman Abdi Haji Gobdon said.

Earlier, a security official who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the 72-year-old president was in a "serious condition" at a hospital in the Kenyan capital.
