Teenager stabbed to death in London
LONDON (Reuters) - A teenager was stabbed to death and two others were injured in an attack in southeast London in the early hours, police said on Saturday.
The victim, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at a block of flats in Erith, while the others were taken to the Royal London Hospital.
One of the youths is in a serious but stable condition and the second has been discharged. All three are in their mid- to late-teens.
"We are investigating the circumstances of the incident," the Metropolitan Police said.
No more details of the attack or the victims were released.
An 18-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in north London on New Year's Day. His death came days after Nassirudeen Osawe, 16, was killed in a knife attack at a bus stop in Islington.
Osawe's death took the toll of teenagers murdered in London last year to 27, fuelling concern about the level of violence among young people in inner cities.
