MADRID, July 30 (Reuters) - Spanish building and services group FCC (FCC.MC) may revise its 2008 outlook for some divisions after net profit fell 59 percent in the first half, finance director Victor Pastor said on Wednesday.
Speaking on an analyst conference call, Pastor said: "We expect an improvement in some divisions in the second half from the first, but it's true that this is going to be a difficult year."
He said FCC will have to adjust full-year estimates for some of its business units, saying: "Some will be better, while others will have to struggle to meet targets."
A revision could take place in September, he said.
In February, FCC said it was targeting 10 percent growth in net profit, sales and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) in 2008.
Earlier, FCC announced a slightly smaller than expected fall in first-half net profit to 201.8 million euros ($317.5 million), hit by the downturn in domestic housing.
Turnover rose 6.6 percent to 7.047 billion euros. EBITDA rose 1.9 percent to 963 million euros. Continued...
