ST PETERSBURG, Russia (Reuters) - One of oil firm TNK-BP's major Russian shareholders, Viktor Vekselberg, said on Friday he expected an outline deal to be reached with BP (BP.L) over the future of TNK-BP within days.

"I think that in the next few days we will come to some preliminary agreements," Vekselberg told reporters on the sidelines of the St Petersburg Economic Forum.

TNK-BP is a 50-50 joint venture between BP and a group of Russian oligarchs.
