LONDON (Reuters) - Factbox on Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini, who said on Tuesday he wanted to quit the club at the end of the season.

* Born: November 27, 1964 in Jesi, Italy.

* Makes debut for Bologna in 1981, becoming the youngest player to compete in Italy's top flight.

* In 1982 moves to Sampdoria to begin a 15-year career at the Genoa-based club, during which he won five Italian Cups, one UEFA Cup Winners Cup (1990) and one Serie A title (1991).

* Makes international debut for Italy in 1984 in a friendly against Canada. Goes on to makes 36 international appearances, scoring four goals.

* In 1997 joins Lazio, where he is reunited with his former Sampdoria coach, Sven-Goran Eriksson.

* In 2000 Lazio win only their second Serie A title. A year later Mancini begins coaching career as Eriksson's assistant.

* In January 2001 leaves Lazio to go on loan to English Premier League side Leicester City, but returns after four matches to become coach of Fiorentina, whom he leads to Italian Cup victory.

* Resigns from Fiorentina in 2002 as club heads toward bankruptcy.  Continued...
